For sale is a Belgian 1 Franc coin from 1991, from the long reign of King Baudouin. The obverse of the coin features the left-facing portrait of King Baudouin in a stylized line design. Surrounding the portrait is his name in Flemish "BOUDEWIJN I" and the Brussels mint mark (Archangel Michael's head). The reverse side displays a modern geometric design incorporating the numeral "1" and the letter "F" (Franc) integrated with the royal crown symbol. The year of issue "1991" appears on either side of the central design, and the country's name in Flemish "BELGIË" is at the bottom. The coin is made of nickel-plated stainless steel, giving it a silvery appearance and durability. This circulated piece serves as a memento from the Kingdom of Belgium in the early 1990s, shortly before the end of King Baudouin's reign, and an interesting addition to a collection of European coins or for those interested in the Belgian monarchy.
