For sale is a Hungarian 10 Forint coin from 1994, from the period of the Republic of Hungary following the end of the communist era. The obverse of the coin centrally features the state coat of arms of the Republic of Hungary, which includes the Holy Crown of Hungary above a quartered shield. Surrounding the emblem is the inscription "MAGYAR KÖZTÁRSASÁG" (Republic of Hungary) and the year of issue "1994" at the bottom. The reverse side displays a modern and clear design with a large numeral "10" above the word "FORINT" and the mint mark "BP." (Budapest) below it. The coin is made of a copper-nickel alloy. This circulated piece is an example of Hungarian coinage during the transition to democracy and the consolidation of the republic, and an interesting addition to a collection of modern European coins or for those interested in contemporary Hungarian history.
