For sale is a Thai 5 Baht coin from the Buddhist Era year 2547 (equivalent to 2004 AD), an item representing the rich culture and royal heritage of Thailand. The obverse of the coin features the portrait of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX), the revered monarch who reigned over Thailand for many decades. Surrounding the portrait is his royal name and title in Thai script "ภูมิพลอดุลยเดช รัชกาลที่ ๙" (Bhumibol Adulyadej, Rama IX). The reverse side impressively depicts Wat Benchamabophit (also known as the Marble Temple) in Bangkok, one of Thailand's most beautiful and famous temples. Above the temple is the inscription "ประเทศไทย" (Thailand) and the year of issue "พ.ศ. ๒๕๔๗" (B.E. 2547). Below the image is the denomination "๕ บาท" (5 Baht). The coin is made of copper-nickel clad steel, giving it a unique appearance and durability. This circulated coin serves as an authentic memento from the Kingdom of Thailand and an interesting addition to any world or Asian coin collection, commemorating the long reign of King Rama IX.
